I‘ve had this series for a long time already, but to this day I am still so very impressed with how beautiful they actually are. And when I was admiring them yet again I realized that I never actually show you the details.

So you are hereby welcome to admire them with me 🖤

THIS WAS SO GOOD.

I went blindly into this ‚𝚄𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙸𝚛𝚘𝚗 𝚂𝚔𝚢‘ by @at.emerald hadn’t even read the blurb. My friend @nkbinding raved on and off about this book so I thought I’d give it a shot and applied for an ARC and BAM. I was immersed.
The pacing was really good. I was in from the beginning. The plot and world building ratio was impressive. It all settled in place continuously from start to finish and made sure I wasn’t overwhelmed or bored with just enough background to the scenes that I was able to flawlessly comprehend the surroundings and the story wholly.

The ending made my eyebrows pinch more that a few times, but there wasn’t even time to process the betrayal and happenings, the revelations just tumbled into each other, leaving the reader shell shocked for the better part of the end. That beeing said, I really neeeeeed book two as soon as possible.

So if your looking for a book that catches you right away, make sure to pick this one up. It‘s freshly released!

@laurenkatebooks just released her a new addition of angelic Romantasy and I‘m so here for it!

As a teen her ‚Fallen‘-series was a must have and I devoured them all in one, so when I heard that she was to publish a new book I was instantly on board. And when I got to know it was going to be part of a book box I am subscribed to I was so eager to get the box.

And honestly, when I unboxed this edition I was instantly in love. This edition is so stunning und feels@so nice in hand! But what truly amazed me was how this gorgeous edition was able to deliver just the right feeling to make me instantly want to read this book. @thelockedlibrary this is one of the most beautiful edition you have ever published!

I can’t wait to read this but I had to share these beautiful pictures with everyone first!
What was your favorite book series as a teen?

„All that stands between a hero and villainy is proper motivation,“ he says. „Love provokes the hero as violently as it does the villain, and it’s merely who tells the story that determines which is which“ - @shannonjspann

As you can see, even after three months I’m still not over this book. Have you read this yet?

Also, this is not me having a thing for characters named Jude 👀 by @jacee_reads

Unbox my @fairyloot YA and Items Box with me.

This month‘s book is ‚Thorn Season‘ written by @kiera.azar
I am in love woth the blue-purpleish design by @kuri_huang . If I were to chose any color for a special editions it would definitiv be Blue. There‘s just something so special about this colour and combined with the purple and gold it just looks stunning.
The hardcover (by @by_madlendesign ) is so beautiful and cohesive with the all over design. This is exactly how special editions should be.

The first item to unbox is the softest blanket ever inspired by the Emily Wilde series. I didn’t even get to have it, my daugther snatched it right out of my hands. She‘s four, but it seems she‘s already got good taste in books.
It is designed by @julie.reinhart_

In this months puzzle is inspired by Axie Oh’s ‚The Floating World‘
I love the quality of these. Also the box is just art itself 😍
The design is by @runamareuty

The those gorgeous foiled bookmarks inspired by @_lady_moira_ picture Blaze, Flint, Haldyn and Fox from ‚Heir of Storms‘ by Lauryn Hamilton Murray

And the rest overlays as well as the endpages are by the wonderful @kalisamiii
The small details and whimsical way she portrays the characters, as well as the background draws me in everytime. I can‘t wait to read the book ans see the overlays when living the scene in my mind!

Lastly the tarot cards picture Keil and Alissa from this book and were designed by @avendellart

‚𝙸𝚏 𝙸 𝚊𝚖 𝚝𝚘 𝚋𝚎 𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚎𝚗𝚎𝚖𝚢, 𝙸 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚒𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚋𝚎 𝚋𝚎𝚌𝚊𝚞𝚜𝚎 𝚜𝚑𝚎 𝚕𝚘𝚊𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚜 𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚖𝚎.‘

I have to confess, when book boxes started to announce this series, I was immediately invested and needed to have every possible edition. So much so that this, along with one other series, are now my most owned books.

But when I first held this edition in my hand I was reminded why I started collecting books in the first place. It has everything one could ever want and I am so immensely glad to have these treasures.
Also thanks to @laurenrobertslibrary for signing all the books. That is such a wonderful perk!

To be honest, if Kai were to ever publish a collection of poetry, I‘d be first in line to buy that too. I am just in love with this flowery, beautiful descriptive writing.

If you haven’t read them and you like slow burn romance and witty banter, then maybe this could series could be for you!

Open my Forbidden Wing Oktober Book Box with me.

This months pick is ‚Dead Poets Sorority‘ by Sofia Shelly

I just discovered how much I enjoy pink foiling! How did i not notice before? We need more pink foiling in this world!

I always snoop to see what book is in what box and when I read the blurb I knew I had to have this one. And I still can‘t wait to read it.

‚Dead Poet Sorority‘ is a darkly funny gothic romance. It‘s about Emma Reeves, a student journalist, who get’s pressured from her editor to go undercover and learn more about a certain sorority. At no point in her life did she ever think of conjuring her own dead poet ghost from the 19th century while doing that! If that doesn‘t complicate things..

✨SMALL BUSINESS SUNDAY ✨

Today is all about @buch_deckel

Unbox this wonderful package from ✨Buchdeckel✨ with me, as well as some items that already found a home here.

I was really lucky and actually won this package in her recent giveaway, so I couldn’t be happier right now! This shop has been a longtime favorite of mine and I absolutely adore Christina and her work. Not only her work but her whole personality.
Along with friends of mine, I had the pleasure to get to talk to her in person on last years book convention in Frankfurt and she is just as sweet in real life as we know from her feed. (Also those lovely ladies helping out at the booth were a delight!) Even though she was already in the late stages of pregnancy and the day itself must have been been exhausting she was all smiles and sunshine ☀️

With the frequency I‘ve show her products before, I don‘t think I need to mention that I absolutely love the quality and designs any further, so here‘s a list if todays unboxing:

✨ Zodiac Academy Pouch
✨ E-Reader Glitter Chain
✨ Acotar Inspired Book Sleeve
✨ Acotar Inspired Phone Grip
✨ Acotar Inspired Key Chain
✨ Acotar Inspired E-Reader Sleeve
✨ TOFFEL Standee and Ornament 🦴🐾

And I just needed to show you:
⚜️ Pin Binder
⚜️ Bookish Equipment Binder
⚜️ E-Reader Inlays
(Inspired by Fourth Wing, Tog and Dark Romance)
⚜️ Fourth Wing Inspired Phone Grip
⚜️ ToG Inspired E-Reader Sleeve

Of course you are welcome to visit her page and see for yourself! You won‘t be disappointed!

Admire this beautiful sequels of @staciastarkauthor ‚𝙺𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚍𝚘𝚖 𝚘𝚏 𝙻𝚒𝚎𝚜‘- Series with me.

These @the.arcane.society editions are simply stunning. I fell in love instantly when I saw the preview of the first two and just knew I needed them (even though i own multiple editions already).

I binged this series from start to finish and really got to love the main as well as the side characters. They are so memorable and well constructed!
One of my favorite characters in this series is Madinia, a strong and fierce side character who gets her own series (Kingdom of Death) just now.

Come join me in my fondness for this series🥰

Come and join me unboxing this months @fairyloot YA & Items box.

I‘ve seen pictures of next years calendar online, but boy is it beautiful in person! I’m SO glad I switched to book & Items. Usually I’m not a merch person, but I never regretted changing subs with this box. The quality is really high and the items are so diverse.

The first Item, next years calendar, shows characters from @tahereh mafi books and I have to confess, it may be April all year long in 2026 ;)
The art was created by the wonderful @palinlineart

The second is a candle that smells like sweet coffee, perfect for this season.
I love how they specified ‚Iced Coffee, One Cream, One Sugar. Best detail ever!
This item is inspired by ‚The God and the Gumiho‘ and was designed by @blanca.design

And the last item is this wonderful and beautiful desk matt by the talented @peaches.obviously
It is inspired by @kristenciccarelli s ‚The Crimson Moth‘-series.
Gosh, this makes me want to redecorate my entire home to match. Honestly, this may just be the best box of the entire year!

This months book is ‚Seven Deadly Throns‘ by @amham_writes

The story follows Viola, a student at Vandenberghe Academy who discovers the ability to wield shadow magic, which is forbidden in the Kingdom of Aragoa and punished with the death sentence.
But instead of killing her Roze, the queens assassin, proposed for them to strike a bargain. In order to spare her life she needs to agree to help him with her magic.

This edition is truely so gorgeous and matched the vibes of the book perfectly. I love the green theme and the portrait of the main characters pictured on the endpapers. Everything!
Lastly the additional overlays tie everything together.

The artists and designers did such an outstanding job with this. Thank you for bringing this to our bookshelves!

Praise where it‘s due:
Redesigned Cover by @rosdottir & @aeadraws
Sprayed edges by @rosdottir
Hardcover artwork by @lettersbylila_
Endpapers by @palinlineart

I haven’t started the book yet, but with this it moved straight ontop of my TBR.
