Goth Princess Nimi Nightmare to kickstart Halloween season 🎀✨

I bought a new tablet and tried out Clip Studio Paint for the first time! Doodled a bit and this is my first proper piece out of it. Still trying to get the hang of it, very different from how I usually draw.

Pupil, Filtered Light, and Sapphire Organic 02 - New artworks featured in @poetriesinenglish ✨

The editors picked 3 very blue, very different artworks, perhaps it’s the lonely disquieting feeling that ties them together. All 3 pieces were created in different years. Read the full feature on their website and check out other artworks, both literary and visual.

Pupil was drawn at a time when I found it very difficult to face the world. Discomfort at being perceived has always been obvious in my art.

Filtered Light has an unfinished empty vibe, I thought of adding some decor to it but decided to leave it as is, that feels the most like me after all. I’ve since added 3 pieces to the Filtered Light series. Sapphire Organic 2 is the last of the 6-piece Sapphire series to be published.

💙Sapphire: Observation 01💙 has been nominated for Best of The Net 2027 by @theorangerose_litmag 🎉

It was published with Flightless 02 in their recent Issue 6. Thank you to the Orange Rose editors for the love! Both pieces were drawn in 2024 when I was navigating huge new life situations. I’ve come a long way since then but it’s nice to look back on older works.

Last May, I was at the Sapporo Lilac Festival and the lilacs were in full bloom in Odori Park. Took a bunch of photos that I used to reference for this piece. The lilacs look like tiny purple gems 💜

Remington Review (@remingtonreview) just published the photo I took there in their latest Spring 2026 issue (slide 2). On the topic of nature photography, Moss Puppy Magazine (@mosspuppymag) recently published Golden Glow in Issue 10 (slide 3). Glad to be published alongside other artists in those issues ✨😌
