This is part of a song I wrote a while back. I’ve gone back and forth posting bc it’s slightly depressing, honest and raw. But that’s what music is about right?
Psalm 18:6 In my distress I called upon the LORD; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears
I think there’s been times in all of our lives when we know God is “ever present” in times of trouble. We have FAITH he’s there, but we cry out and hear nothing. We pray and hear silence.
Sometimes our relationship with God isn’t always pretty. Sometimes it’s hard. Sometimes faith is trusting he’s there, trusting his promises even though we can’t hear or see it. by @jacelynmgay
