I had the honor of speaking at the @sofitelphilly Flag Raising alongside elected officials, community leaders, advocates, and changemakers from across our region.As we raised the Pride flag, I couldn’t help but think about the generations who fought for us to be visible, celebrated, and protected. Pride is about joy, but it’s also about purpose. It’s about showing up, building community, and making sure the next generation inherits a world that’s better than the one we found.Thank you to Sofitel and @koryaversa for creating space to bring us together and kick off Pride Month in such a meaningful way. by @jacenbowman

Day 2 of @rootspicnic and what can I say? I had an absolute blast. As y’all can see from the videos,pictures and my IG Stories, I was outside and having a TIME each day. 😂🙌🏾Shoutout to @rootspicnic for another incredible year. I know the move to the legendary Belmont Plateau had a few bumps and logistical issues along the way, but honestly… I think I liked this layout better than the Mann. (My opinion) There was something about the energy that felt more intimate, more connected, and more community-centered. It felt like family. I can’t quite explain it, but the vibe was different in the best way possible.Already looking forward to next year @RootsPicnic #RootsPicnic2026 by @jacenbowman
