Finally, getting around to posting the trip of a lifetime. Four days, three nights, 34 miles, four summits, 12,000 ft elevation, and 35 pounds on your back. It was very strenuous, but I do it all over again in a heartbeat. Something about challenging yourself to do a hike like this really makes you appreciate the smallest ability to do things. I have no idea how many times I caught myself saying thank you Jesus for being able to take a step forward, to be able to have vision to see his creations, to have ears that can hear the sounds of creatures being in their own peaceful environment, and to have someone whom I cherish very much being able to share these moments with me. It makes me so grateful and thankful for the life that I live. Remember that you can do anything that you put your mind to. The world is your oyster, you have the opportunity to do anything you want!⛰️🥾🪻 taken in Maroon Bells by @jaceyleona

Miley really helped push me through this one! One of the most challenging trails I’ve done with the best reward. Imagine walking through the mountains and being completely disconnected. It’s just you, the people you went with, and a whole bunch of nature. You are truly living off the land for a few days. You pack in and out your food, gather water at the nearest river that runs by you, and ice bathe in the lake that you set camp at. It makes you feel human again. To be able to survive a few days without civilization makes you feel alive again. I cannot praise enough how good it is for our souls to get out in nature. To step out of the man made buildings and roads and to see gods glory untouched. It’s mesmerizing. To be able to see crystal blue mountain water, to being able to hike 25 miles, and to have a lady bug land on me at the summit of broken top 🥹 S/O to granny on that one ;) it’s just a blessing to be able to see and do so much 🫶🏻 thank you broken top for the memories and the beauty you hold. Redwoods: an insane magical experience that truly makes you believe there are fairies running around you through the woods

Redwoods was a vacation that was very much needed. It was a vacation that we felt like we could sit back and actually breathe. My favorite feeling ever is feeling so small towards the world. This world can feel so scary and overwhelming at times but a cure is to hike to the tops of some mountains and overlook all what lies beneath us. In redwoods case, you don’t have to do any hiking, just look up!!!! You literally break you neck plus a little bit of your back to see the FIRST BRANCH OF THE TREES! It is truly insane all what god has created around us to see. Places like the redwoods remind you of all the possibilities he has for us. Lots of memories shared and lots of memories to look back on especially with the tents. We showed up with a backpacking tent and left with a FREE 8 person tent + a queen sized mattress (check the last 2 pictures to see what we were working with)!!! Redwoods you were absolutely wonderful to us and I hope with all my tree hugging you felt so loved:) 🤟🏼🌳🦭🍄

Because choosing you is a lifetime of dancing around in the kitchen, making sure I get all the pieces of my hair styled, and a home full of endless love and laughter. I can’t imagine loving anyone as much as I love you. I can’t wait to experience life with you, grow old with you, and find more and more reasons as to why I fell in love with you. Hellooo NEW YORKKKK

Check off all the major landmarks such as Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center (was pretty :( to find out this wasn’t the building the Rockettes performed at), Empire State Building, 9/11 Memorial, and the Statue of Liberty. Well, kinda, we rode the ferry to see her; however, sat on the wrong side so we saw her in a distance. I was wondering why we had the whole side to ourselves lol. Overall, New York is a BIG city. Glad to have gotten the Big Apple checked off my bucket list, but the likelihood of me ever coming back is slim. #countrygirlatheart. If ever visiting make sure to wear comfy shoes, have a charged phone, and know at all times where the nearest bathroom is located lol taken in Times Square, New York City by @jaceyleona
