This one’s defo worth the whole watch, we promise 🥹🫡Well, we’ve done it! This is our last cover with a view for a little while, as our travels have now come to an end 😭 BUT…we do still have a few silly bonus bits/sing-a-longs left so we’ll defo chuck them on here at some point dw. We’ve both completely fallen in love with travelling. Not to be dramatic, but it’s sort of completely changed everything, because now we can’t really imagine our lives without it. So, with that being said, believe us when we say this will not be our last cover!! Not when there’s so many views left to see!! We’ve met some truly incredible people along the way, but wanted to give a special shoutout to our two managers (one in charge of each hemisphere) 😂😉 @mia.forsterr and @outdoorsemily thank you so much for your help and gentle (👀) nudges to keep it up! Whilst I was out in Japan, I thought it would be fun to make a little short film and enter it into the Niseko Film Festival. We made it over a couple of days, shot the whole thing on my phone, and amazingly it was accepted into the festival! The film is a mix of English and Japanese (huge thanks to Nana for helping with the subtitles and delivering an incredible performance). It isn’t colour graded and the editing is a little rough around the edges. It’s by no means perfect. But, that’s what makes it special. It doesn’t have to be perfect to be worth making. Sometimes just making something, getting it out there and celebrating it is enough 🫡A huge thank you to the many amazing & talented people got involved. It ended up being one of the absolute highlights of my trip. Special shoutout to Si, who was unknowingly promoted to leading man and absolutely smashed it. 😂The festival night itself was amazing - getting to watch everyone’s films and celebrate together was the best. And also I won the raffle (see last slide for live reaction) and walked away with two nights in a five-star hotel in Tokyo. Massive. Lesson learnt: just make the thing, ya never know, you might win a raffle🧡📸 by @jack.a.gray
