Guadalajara on iPhone.Estadio Guadalajara looks like something out of a Christopher Nolan film. The upper ring always created beautiful shadows during sunset evening games. The city itself was a genuine highlight. You couldn’t walk a block without seeing beautiful historic buildings or catching the smell of delicious food. Weather in the 60’s kept everyone outside for hours, either on restaurant patios, listening to live music, or watching World Cup matches on public screens. We wrapped Guadalajara on June 26th. What a beautiful city! by @jack.frazier.arw

It’s always hard to put these kinds of jobs into words. This summer I spent 31 days in Mexico, filming for the World Cup. We covered nine matches, three volunteer stories, events, fan festivals, and much more. I averaged about two tacos per day, learned some Spanish, and grew a mustache. This trip really wouldn’t have been what it was without @arto_mation and @jayzuni - They were constantly helping me with Spanish and telling me what foods I should try. I’m really grateful I got to experience Mexico through them. Thank you brothers! The cool thing about working for FIFA is that you meet people literally from all over the world. It was great meeting new shooters this year and reconnecting with others from Club World Cup last year. Even with language barriers, we all spoke the language of fĆŗtbol and cameras. I wish the best for everyone! What an incredible summer. From capturing Shakira at the opening match, to all the 2am Popeyes orders after long, exhausting game days; I enjoyed every moment.I can’t thank @startingeleven.us and @fifa enough for this opportunity.Cinco Squad, out. by @jack.frazier.arw

One of the coolest commercials I’ve been a part of. We lit a house on fire šŸ”„ For this one, we lit every section of the house in order to be able to VFX the fire in post. Also made good use of the hazer! It took the entire day, but the whole team executed!Business: Pete’s Pest ControlProduction: @marksmediaco Director/Producer: Dan BarnesDP/Camera Operator: @brysonwooden AC/Camera Operator: Jack FrazierGrip: Bryson Wooden/Jack Frazier/Al SouthernSound Op: Al SouthernEditor/Special Effects: Dan BarnesCamera: Sony FX6Lens: Sony Primes by @jack.frazier.arw

Cool spec I made for a CrossFit gym. Crazy thing is, this was filmed with one light and a photo camera. Proves you don’t need a ton of equipment and a huge rig sometimes! Insane technique: The flickering light while the male talent was running, was done practically. I had our female talent jiggle the extension chord to make the light turn off and on to give this ā€œflickeringā€ technique - inspired by scenes from The Dark Knight series. The last scene of the spec was a longer one-take where both talents alternated different movements and I moved between them. Took a couple takes, but worked out well. With fitness content, you only have 1 to 2 takes on heavy weighted movements before the talent gets fatigued. We shot this pretty quick in one night and the edit ended up taking way longer than the shoot. The whole spec is sound designed with braams, breathing, and other low frequency sfx. by @jack.frazier.arw

Here’s a huge project we had for Missouri Western State University. Tons of interviews, b-roll, fpv drone and special effects all turned into several different marketing videos for the campus. We really tried to show off the scope and complexity of their new engineering building in the background of our interviews with our framing and lighting setups. My favorite part was walking behind the fpv drone to spot and direct.
