Spotted a majestic manta ray off the coast of Perth! These gentle giants are a rare sight here as they usually prefer warmer, tropical waters 750km north of Perth up in the Ningaloo reef.

If you look closely it swam so close to people who didn’t even notice it, even a snorkeler looking straight into its direction.

Spent the day searching for sharks along the coast with @joe_bruce__ and ended up finding something even better 🦈🚀

Definitely a highlight for the year, capturing this beautiful blue whale on its long migration journey south 🐳
Hard to explain the feeling when you see the largest animal to have lived on this earth right in front of you just 500m off the beach. taken in Western Australia by @jack.pangea

Taking ants in your pants to the next level 🐜

Always fascinated how small termites can build these massive structures all across the outback.

Australia’s Wild West 🤠

A collection of shots from years spent up in the Pilbara, from 50 degree days, fires, tropical cyclones, snakes and grasshopper plagues to name a few experiences. Nothing compares 🔥 taken in Pilbara, Western Austrailia by @jack.pangea

The Australian Icon 🦘

Snapped this Joey on a trip down to the forests in Pemberton, saw some rustling in the fields and luckily as soon as the camera was out this seed covered head popped out from behind the wheat 🌾

Happy Australia Day 🇦🇺 🦘

Taking a moment to reflect on the place I’ve have the privilege to call home over the past 6 years despite never forgetting the motherland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Initially when an opportunity arose I had only planned to come to work in remote Australia for a short stint, get some quick money and move on. Now after living in 3 different states, spending time exploring every single state and working in some weird and wonderful locations I can say I truly am grateful to be here.

Snakes, spiders, sharks, crocodiles, I’ve seen all they try to scare you away with face to face and still keep coming back (although I am still waiting to find one of those drop bears everyone told me about when I arrived 🙄).

Much love to everyone who I’ve met along this Australia journey and here’s to the next 6 years 🤠
