🌲A dreamy mountain lake in the middle of the summer heat felt like the ideal setting for an acoustic performance of The Last Girl, an original Elizabeth Bowersox tune written simply for acoustic guitar and vocals. Here is where the story shines. Here is where time stands still. In this melancholy tale, a girl identifies her weaknesses and admits she’s in the wrong situation. Ultimately, she chooses herself. And someday, it will all end up working out the way it was supposed to. 🎙️A story this honest meets its match with the @mojaveaudio MA-301fet. One mic. One take. Up close and personal. Crystal clear. ✨Full video drops on YouTube at 12pm PST 🎥: @jack_hackett — Rising California country artist Elizabeth Bowersox pairs a crystal-clear, old-soul voice with storytelling that feels like cool summer nights. Her songwriting and twang-driven melodies earned her a 2026 San Diego Music Award for Best Country or Americana Album for her debut EP California Queen. Although classically trained in voice, Bowersox finds her stride in the honky-tonks, showcasing her technical precision among a freewheeling country sound. With a pedal-to-the-metal approach, she delivers high-energy shows rooted in authenticity, channeling the spirit of a carefree west coast cowgirl. by @jack_hackett
Our new single “Day Jobs” is out! It’s one of the more autobiographical songs we’ve written and it even was supposed to be on our first album, but it wasn’t QUITE ready yet. The bridge wasn’t right. It’s always the bridge! But when we got the opportunity to go on America’s Got Talent, we had spark of inspiration and rewrote the bridge to reference Simon and voila! We were ready to record The A-Team Credits: Producer @ericcorne Vocals @haleyyybro Vocals, Acoustic Guitar (me) Electric Guitar @jacobstevenbrown Pedal Steel @jordan_thepackrat Bass @adamarcos Drums @kbrownsounds Piano @sashasmithpiano Tambourine @maxwellflanders Master @markchalecki Recorded at @lovestreetsound Released by @fortybelowrecords Random cameo by @wakemandusty Video by Marco Moir by @jack_hackett

Classic Rock Guitar Amp Miking, Episode 2 🔊Iconic engineers like Glynn Johns and Eddie Kramer pioneered a simple and now-classic guitar amp miking setup: A U67 paired with an SM57. 🎶 Mojave’s modern take? An MA-300 large diaphragm tube condenser for that big hi-fi sound, and an MA-D dynamic that packs the punch. 🌎 Touring and session guitarist Jacob Brown shares how Mojave’s get him just the sound he’s looking for. Mmmm 🎸Jacob has played and recorded with artists Jesse McCartney, Benson Boone, Sombr, Niki Zefanya, and more. He’s currently on the road with Lulu Simon, supporting Madison Beer’s The Locket Tour. @jacobstevenbrown @thecollarbonesband by @jack_hackett
