I challenge anyone to go to see #Westlife25 and not be on their feet singing along to every word. Not even a guilty pleasure, just wholesome nostalgia. Banger after banger #westlife

On a raining Wednesday I found myself sat at the back of a discreet East London studio watching @hearsayuk and @libertyxofficial X walk in one by one (they arrived separately so not to be papped)
It was a 00's fever dream.
They then gave me their first interview as two reunited bands for one tour... #PopstarsTheOriginals

In June I gambled and have been sat news of their tour ever since... as some things are worth far more than ruining for a cheap click.

And, honestly, the boy in pic 3 would have been so disappointed he knew two decades later he had spoiled the surprise.

A decade is a lifeitme in an industry that routinely chews-up and spits people out like clockwork. It's even more rare to still be creating solid music that far into your career and not to have turned into a bit a twat with an ego.

Happy to report, the songs @tom.grennan played from his upcoming fifth album are genuinely some of his best.

He also wasn't a twat, so double win and good night all round I'd say.

New single, Wrapped in Gold, out October 21.

A lot of this job is getting people to trust that you're not going burn them for a quick hit.

Everyone's time is precious so why would they risk talking to someone who could knife them in an industry that is hardly known for its warmth at times?

With that in mind it's not lost on me the gamble @samsmith / @cherry_create took when we sat down backstage in Manchester at their first of their UK shows.

So a huge thank you to all and Sam if you see this - take up my recommendation of going to a @bongosbingo, I promise you'll love it 😅❤️🙏
