It’s time to explain.

Two years ago, something became very clear in the industry I’d spent years working in — everything had changed.

Wedding photography helped me pay the bills while I developed my skills in photography, editing, websites, branding, client relationships… the list goes on. If you’ve ever built a business from nothing, you’ll understand — you end up doing almost everything yourself. Mostly me, sometimes with Ash.

Over the years I got to work on some incredible projects with brands you’ll definitely know. Lee Cooper, Nike, The North Face, to name a few. Those shoots paid well, pushed me creatively, and genuinely excited me.

But things started changing fast.

Brands no longer needed to spend the same money on campaigns when social media was giving them free promotion every day. AI entered the space. Budgets became smaller. Some opportunities disappeared completely.

And while I enjoyed weddings, I knew it was never my long-term goal. Chasing bookings 12–24 months in advance gets exhausting… especially when there are no returning customers 😅

It was obvious I needed to make a big change.

Maybe I’m a little late to the party, but filmmaking — especially around cars, bikes, and generally cooler, louder toys — opened the door to doing what I always loved most about my work… just in a different way.

The bonus? Bringing brands along for the ride.

It started with filming a good friend’s 997 Turbo S. That video gave me proof of concept:
I can make videos people actually want to watch.

Not long after, I received my first paid email in this space. That’s when I realised there was real business potential here too.

Then the Bentley video took off on social media… and suddenly I could see it clearly:
it’s actually possible to make money from digital content while you sleep.

And now here we are filming and driving exotics. And knocking on the door of YouTube monetisation.

Still so much more to do.
But for the first time in a long time, I’m genuinely excited for what’s next. by @jack_westhead

A true Batmobile. 🦇 Ultra rare, with one of the most outstanding soundtracks on planet Earth. Less than 200 right-hand-drive examples globally, with 65 or fewer in the UK. After just a short time with it, I can confirm it’s absolutely outstanding. Looks are super clean and aggressive and your less likely to see one over the svj 🇮🇹🔥 can’t wait to share what me @lambosto_svr got up to by @jack_westhead

@lambosto_svr and myself have been tasked with giving you an insight into just how epic the Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster is.

After a quick outing Saturday morning, we had an absolute blast getting our first look at what this car is all about. I use the word “car” loosely… it’s more like a spaceship for the road. 🚀

I’m about 10 days away from having the full YouTube video ready, but here’s a first look at us checking out the SV before it gets its exhaust upgrade.

And yes… the sound you hear in this video is the stock exhaust. 😮‍💨🔥 by @jack_westhead

After @hannah.patel7 suffered an unfortunate gearbox malfunction while here in Cornwall, we felt it best to enjoy a road trip and get everyone home safely. Rather than see our friends suffer through a 19-hour journey home via the AA😅

The AA have some explaining to do…
