Amelia Steen has announced the start of The Kingdom Cut Project, a fundraiser in honor of Whit Steen.

Whit was passionate about many things, one being his work as a barber.

We have started The Kingdom Cut Project to provide haircuts for children in the NEK community. Dan’s Barber Shop will be holding a back-to-school event where kids can come and get a haircut by donation- only pay what you can! We want to reach as many students as possible.

All donations will be allocated to purchase vouchers for free kids haircuts at Dan’s shop. These vouchers will be distributed to children throughout the school year via the HOPE backpack program.

I want to thank Dan for working with me on making this all come together, along with everyone at his shop for their generosity in doing this event. I truly believe this is something Whit would be proud of.

If you would like to donate towards the vouchers, the flyer’s QR code will direct you to @JackandWhit-Steen-Invitational on Venmo.

Don’t hesitate to reach out to us or @milliesteen with any questions you may have! Thank You! by @jackandwhitgolf

If you or your business would like to sponsor please reach out to us!
Last Year the money raised from this tournament helped buy an indoor batting cage and Lyndon Institute where both Jack and Whit played. This indoor batting cage will allow both the baseball and softball team to get indoor training year around without having to take down or move the cage as it is retractable from the ceiling in Sanborn Hall. Expected project completion is August 2026. by @jackandwhitgolf

As we get closer to the Jack & Whit Steen Invitational, we’re asking teams to submit payments in advance via Venmo (@ JackandWhit-Steen-Invitational) to help streamline the check-in process on the morning of the tournament.

We’re asking that payments be made before July 1st. If paying ahead doesn’t work for you, just let us know in DM and we can arrange payment via cash or check on the morning of the tournament instead. Reminder, please reach out to confirm your spot in the tournament this year.

We appreciate everyone’s support and can’t wait for another great tournament! by @jackandwhitgolf
