Four boldly hued neon works by Stephen Antonakos illuminate the exterior glass Jewel Box vitrines of the SCAD Museum of Art, celebrating the artist’s centennial and the museum’s 15th anniversary.

Re-creating Antonakos’ landmark 2011 Jewel Box installation, the exhibition traces his decades-long exploration of neon—beginning in 1960 and drawing inspiration from the dazzling lights of New York City and the luminous, gilded interiors of Byzantine sacred spaces in his native Greece.
Color, light, architecture, and spirituality converge as Antonakos transforms the museum’s historic façade, inviting us to experience neon not simply as a medium, but as a source of transcendence.

A special thank you to SCAD Museum of Art curator Ben Tollefson and Daniel Palmer for helping bring this exhibition to life @bentollefson @ddotpalmer

We are pleased to share that Dylan Vandenhoeck and Raymie Iadevaia are included in X Collection 404: When Landscapes Draw Near at X Museum, Beijing.

On view through August 16, 2026, the museum’s fifth collection exhibition brings together 46 contemporary artists from 13 countries, presenting recent works that examine the evolving role of landscape in contemporary art. Through painting, sculpture, photography, and archival materials, the exhibition considers landscape as a dynamic visual language—one that reflects personal histories, cultural perspectives, and changing ways of seeing.

We are honored to see Dylan and Raymie’s work featured alongside an exceptional international group of artists in this thoughtful presentation. If you’re in Beijing, check out the exhibition before it closes!

Today is the last day to see Amy Brener’s work at Barely Fair in Chicago!

Amy Brener’s work seeks to level hierarchies between sacred and mundane material, questioning what we choose to preserve and discard. Her monumental or seemingly devotional forms serve as holders for disposable objects like q-tips, tooth flossers and plastic drinking straws, elevating them to the status of treasured relics. Brener’s work merges diverse historical influences, including classical sculpture, Baroque ornamentation, Art Deco, and early science fiction, unified by a palette shaped by 1980s and 90s nostalgia and contemporary consumerism.

Thank you @roropaints
