It was really nice to get to perform @queensparkarena the other day opening for The Wickerman. Thanks for having me! This is a wee bit of my tune ‘I thought I’d Lost You’. #alternativefolk #scottishartist #glasgowsouthside taken in Queen's Park Arena Glasgow by @jackborrill.music

I completely forgot I recorded this. Back in my long hair days and in the middle of a 90s sitcom intro. Should I release it? 👀 #alternativefolk #scottishmusic taken in The Audio Lounge by @jackborrill.music

Was such a pleasure to join @thenichefamily at @edenfestival this year. Haven’t been since @quichetheband played it back in 2019, and am happy to see wee festivals like this managing to persevere through the current economic climate. by @jackborrill.music

Had to transcribe this belter of a bass line from @botanicalhouse_lamp, wonderfully inspiring use of chord tones on that chorus #basstranscription #japanesejazzfusion by @jackborrill.music

We can officially announce that the first @sweethomeyamarama will be at @therumshack Friday 20th February from 7:30pm where we will be playing an extended band set along with performances from our friends @mistandwing & @jackborrill.music 🤠

DJ @kingribmusic will be spinning all your favourite outlaw bangers before, between and after the bands 🔥

Sweet Home Yama Rama is a monthly curated music night showcasing three acts bringing local and touring artists together to play music , hangout and generally shoot the sh*t about what we’re all doing and possibly what we can do together.
🌴

That being said, we decided to waive the cover for the night with a suggested artist donation you can do either on the door or by reserving your ticket via @bandcamp which we will be posting links to
🫶🏼

We set up a page dedicated to the night so if you’re interested in getting involved feel free to message us @sweethomeyamarama
📧

Some delicious options for food and drinks so come join us February 20th for our launch and make a night of it at The Rumshack.

My debut EP is finally out. It’s called ‘Writing Songs was Cheaper Than Therapy (At First)’. I thought that was kind of funny. I recorded it all myself with a little help with some friends, and I couldn’t have done it without them. Thanks to @marsdenmastering for the amazing job of mastering the tracks and for being such a professional dude! Let me know what you all think! 📸 - @rorybarnes_ capturing me soundchecking for Calum Bowie at the Barras the other week. Canny wait to dae more HINGS! by @jackborrill.music
