People who know me know I am a pleasure hater. Sometimes too direct, sometimes too honest, that’s why I struggle with being nothing but positive about an event like Burning Man. I see all the problems of this event and there are many things I constantly question. On the other hand I meet beautiful people, play amazing stages, and sometimes even the parties are absolutely insane. I have seen some amazing art pieces in the past 10 years of burns, though I was left a bit disappointed with the art this year. I miss the political statements that a big event like this can make, but the discussions we had at our camp and out in the playa mean a lot to me. BM is far too white and far too privileged in my opinion, but still there are so many people throwing all their energy and love into this communal experience.
It has been a very intense year for me with a lot of changes and a big part of it started at last year’s BM. 1 year of sobriety and a lot of things happening in my life, so returning to BM felt like closing a circle. Going to the temple again 1 year later felt really healing. Not sure if everybody heard about the temple there. It’s so intense and it’s almost impossible to not cry once you enter this place. Probably the realest place at Burning Man. You see 2m full body muscle guys crying like babies and every cm in the temple is covered in messages of grief and loss. So intense. So real. So painful. So healing once you open up and let go yourself.
in the end I can’t pretend BM is not doing anything to me. I have crazy experiences, best laughs, I feel the desert and I meet people that are real, having the best time with so many friends from all over the world, old ones and new ones and hanging out with artist friends that you sometimes only see for a quick hello in the club.
In the end I have to say I had a fuckin great time, I love our camp G that managed to throw some of the best parties on the playa and I am truly grateful to be part of this camp and thank you to @gaby.noins , @aljoscha_victor , @lanadelrachell , @kimmzys , and all the @camp.gs and to all the crews that invited me to play ❤️
Last words:
Keep talking about Palestine!!!!

My Set from Do Not Sit on the Furniture is now live on SoundCloud. *SoundCloud link in bio* Scroll right to hear some clips from the set.

It was a dream come true to perform at Do Not Sit on the Furniture. I am deeply grateful to the booker and the ownership/management team for the opportunity, and to the audience for creating an unforgettable and electrifying atmosphere. I had an incredible time playing and connecting with all of you.

This mix begins with Dark Organic at 112 bpm, featuring tracks I’ve never played live before. Around the 52-minute mark, it transitions into a more progressive vibe as the bpm rises. In the second half, the set evolves into a blend of indie dance, nu-disco, and dark disco. This was by far the most technical set I have ever played. I hope you enjoy this sonic journey as much as I enjoyed playing it.

*I do not own the rights to these tracks. For promotional use only, recorded from a live dj set*

The legendary establishment @donotsit has been on my bucket list of venues to play at since I started DJing. Needless to say, I am very honored and excited to check it off my bucket list and hear my sound reverberate through its storied walls. Had such a fun time rocking 2 shows with @isiaudi recently. If you haven’t seen his live show yet, put it on your list of things to see. Big thank you to the venues @hearsaynyc and @no9nyc and to everyone who came out bringing an infectious energy. Also big thank you to @nachoisa for having @ze__tigre and I rock an extended set the other weekend (short clip in slide 3) as hearing the crowds reaction is why I enjoy doing this so much 🙏 Love you all taken in New York, New York by @jackbrio_

Reflecting on my first time attending a @shanghaicafemx event a year and a half ago, I was captivated by its distinctive flair, meticulous attention to detail, and overall event curation. It quickly became one of my favorite event series in Mexico. When I learned of their expansion to NYC, I knew it would be received well as they brought a slice of Mexico’s essence and something refreshingly different to the city. It has been a personal aspiration to be part of their carefully curated lineup someday, knowing their discerning taste in sound and artists. Fast-forward to tomorrow, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to play at one of their events. This will be a memorable evening. taken in New York, New York by @jackbrio_
