🚨 NEW SLOPE ADDICT 🚨 What a weekend in Mammoth! It’s safe to say he has found the “stoke” - biggest complaint was heading home and not back to the hill! Not pictured: lots of pizza, Shirley Temples, the power of the post hill hot tub/sauna and a ton of high fives (*edit - nor awesome Lodge Mom 😬). Safe to say regular returns to Mammoth are now a part of life. Choate boys are ready for all the ski trips ⛷️🏂🕺✔️ taken in Mammoth Lakes, California by @jackchoate16

11.5 years, wow. I haven’t done anything or been in any one place for 11.5 years. Not a town, not a school, not a home. And Heaven Hill has been that, a home. The places I’ve been, the people I’ve met. All to talk about Bourbon and spread the love that is American Whiskey. I guess you could say, it’s family.

But now it’s time to say goodbye ✌️

To do what? I don’t know. But in the coming weeks and months there will be time to breathe, be a dad & husband, live in LA (🏄‍♂️🏌️‍♂️- both poorly) and not visit LAX until I want to 🙌. I will miss you Skyclub Half-Caff Cappuccino…

Working for Heaven Hill wasn’t just my job, it has been who I am. Time to find the rest of me.

Afterall, a home is a thing to be made, not lost or found.

The people and the friendships are what I will treasure most - and hope to hold on to. “Whiskey Fellowship” is a term I’ve heard a good friend use over and again - I loved it from the moment I first heard it.

I have loved nothing more than telling y’all the story of the 90 years of Heaven Hill and their great whiskeys. I look forward to watching as Heaven Hill continues to flourish over the decades to come. I’ll definitely have a glass in hand. 🥳👐🥃
