In progress sculpture of “Anna”.

After meeting and learning about Anna, I took photos and measurements for sculpting her likeness. The plan was to sculpt her neutrally, then pose and “squish” her face. I spent many months very frustrated with this sculpture because even though all the measurements were correct on paper, the face was crooked and it didn’t look like her at all. It was only after I did a neutral head cast of Anna that I figured out the issue: her left ear is further back than her right. This was creating a lot of inaccuracies in my sculpt because some of my measurements were from the right ear, and some were from the left . Once I figured this out, the likeness came very quickly. After this stage, I posed and completed the sculpture. I really enjoyed sculpting her and I learned so much. by @jackcurrierstudios

Fake head I painted for Fallout at SP|FX Makeup Studio @spfxmakeupstudio . In 2022 I got the privilege to work at Brett Schmidt @bschmidtfx and Greg Pikulski @gregpikulski ‘s studio, working on Fallout. I had so much fun working there with the other artists and technicians. Thank you guys for bringing me to New Jersey and giving me the opportunity to create in such a fun environment!
