Picnic Archives 001. This series focuses on bringing distant memories from past parties back to life with revisited recordings straight from the booth. Our first instalment lands with a 2 hour mix from Breathe Records head honcho and well respected crate digger, Jack Darwin. The mix is taken from Jacks debut with us at Bret sometime last year. The perfect soundtrack for a late summers evening :)

You can hear the recording via the link in bio! taken in BRET by @jackdarwin_

On August 22nd, @nugsonboard bossman Manata joins us at the Garden for something a little special.

The Portuguese powerhouse will be arriving with a bag full of love letters from Lisbon 💿🇵🇹

Manata is a mainstay of Portugal’s underground scene and, since launching Nugs On Board in 2019, has travelled the globe spreading his sound. This time, he stops in Cardiff to share those love letters with us. taken in Paradise Garden by @jackdarwin_

Good to see the old guard, the next wave and everyone in between having it off together. We’re living through something that we’ll look back on and smile about, and that’s something special. taken in Big Love Festival by @jackdarwin_

Introducing a collaboration between Famjam and Breathe.

First, South Wales’ finest take over Lo Lounge, a converted boathouse in Cardiff Bay on the water’s edge for a daytime session.

Then we traverse the city centre, where Breathe lead things deep into the night with none other than Faciendo’s @tommy_pickles99

Happy to announce that Breathe records is taking over the bar on April 11th.

Between Wales and Amsterdam, Breathe is fronted by DJ and resident Jack Darwin. From podcasts and parties, Breathe’s footprint has been widespread since 2017.

At Café Café, first to join Jack in the booth is Peruvian born Mario Ignacio, a now NL based DJ and self described ‘record huntsman’. The ‘Tales of Dakno’ affiliate is well versed in scenes across Europe, and adds the necessary global flavour to complete the linup.

To round out the night, Breathe brings NITKA, a Rotterdam based duo between Nika and Nitram. Careful selectors, NITKA have lately taken their talent for curation through to the label side, with their project Rites of Passage being well worth looking into.

See you on Saturday the 11th.

On Sat March 7th we return to the Garden to Breathe life into what has now become a welcome home base for the label 🪴

We’re very excited to be joined by Bastian, a talented Berlin based DJ and friend of the family who’s played at notable institutions such as Club der Visionaere.

Jinkies main man Izaak makes his Breathe debut alongside familiar faces H Woo & Dræmt, who are all in place to steer you through the resonant fields of Paradise 🌀🫁 taken in Paradise Garden by @jackdarwin_
