Covering the F18 America’s Championship was an awesome experience. Got to see up close what these catamarans are capable of in the hands of some of the best F18 sailors in the country and the world. Huge shout out to the sailors, race committee, event organizers, and sponsors for bringing a regatta of this caliber to my hometown.

South Africa 2/3

I found myself always staring through the windshield. Never taking my eyes away from the possibility of another winding road to snag. Meandering, sweeping, rounding up and over, down and through, so many captivating moments where you yearn for the next view. Rich yellows of canola, sharp oranges that cut mountains and rip oceans, and deep lush greens. The photos will never be perfect, but the memories will be.

South Africa 1/3

A country of vast landscapes and rolling beauty. Hills that stretch longer than your mind can fathom. With wildlife that makes your hairs stand on end. The picture books you read as a child never prepare you for the sounds of elephants foraging, the steam rising from a zebra’s nostrils, or the baboons that line the highways.

In case you missed it, the Harvest Moon is upon us. Enjoy last night’s grandeur of a night flooded by celestial light.

I’ve left my photos with much of their grain, noise, and imperfect levels. If you’re anything like me, your own brain must be filled with much of the same. Burdened with time sinks, lack of blinks, and the thieving of your hard earned minutes. Robbers have staked a claim.
Time here, time there, your time is their burden to bear. Serving slop, from the top, to steal another worthy stare.

I sat alone in last night’s glow. Thinking, night-dreaming, wondering the many minutes this light house has stared. Out into tumultuous seas and glassy wave breaks. Many times my grainy brain has been dragged out to this site. To give my own minutes to the eternal stare of this lighthouse’s might.

Thanks for your time, goodnight.

BTS at last night's @charleston_real_producers awards gala. Things got a little wild! Huge thanks to all of the sponsors and of course the one and only @the_ryan_jones_ for brining the community together for such a positive occasion. It’s an honor to be a small part of it and we can’t wait to share the full reicap video! In the meantime did you catch Keen Eye's own @jackdex_ @maryreagankeeter doing their thang at the event?! taken in Charleston, South Carolina by @jackdex_
