an utter JOY to host the @studentsketchassociation sketch off 2026 at the fringe!! God it was so fun. Every group did brilliantly, the audience were rabid if you can say that these days and @evie.cowen deserves an award for organising it all. There was a colour coded looping system.

Congrats to @thedurhamrevue who the judges @longbrophy @julia_a_mckenzie and @chris_cantrill decided were the champions!!! But also comedy was the champion. And I blocked Chris in all the photos. 🏆

Brilliant sets from @larrydeancomedy and @crybabiescomedy brilliant photos from @jackdkirby and brilliant of @thepleasance to put us in Forth - which we only went and filled.

The man of disease, Joe Palmer is playing Percy!

"Fresh from playing Frankenstein’s monster at Birmingham’s Old Rep Theatre, Joe is pleased (and also mildly concerned) to be cast as Percy, aka Pestilence, in Slim for Life. With a burgeoning niche for death, disease and all things gross, Joe hopes he can inspire groans of ‘urgh’ from audiences everywhere."
