Even before I knew you, somehow I knew I’d find you here
At a place overflowing with everything except better pay
Where together, we sculpted something amazing
Based off nothing but four-year-old memories and ambition

We Love to Laugh:

I am not a person
I am a collection of the people I’m close to
I am a collage of Knick knacks and sayings I picked up
I am made up of scavenged hobbies and interests
I am those I love most, stitched together and recycled

Feeling that I’d fall apart without them
Maybe that’s true…

Because sometimes I wonder how I’m still alive

Would You Want to be Compared:

Any love I’ve shown you is yours to keep

Yet the breeze surrounds me, begging to shift me
And as movement moves one changes
On how to measure life

By mountains climbed or storms I’ve ran from
By light held with my hands, my feet, my mouth
By shadows I’ve cast in my irreverence

No longer judge my life on hours of sorrow and failure
but by tiny glimpses of hope and love.

Another Time:

In 48 weeks I may see you again
Somewhere between the mountains and the city
