POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

These were the last post our founder, David, shared before he passed—a message of hope, a reminder that even in the hardest moments, light and peace are possible.

It has been almost two years since the world lost a great soul. We hold onto his words and his spirit, carrying forward the kindness, wisdom, and warmth he shared with so many.

Life can be overwhelming, and at times, it may feel like the weight of the world is too much to bear. But even in moments of doubt, hope still exists. You are never truly alone, even when it may seem that way. There are people who care, who will listen, and who want to walk this journey with you. No matter how dark things may seem, there is always a way forward, and there is always light to be found. Remember, Jackfroot is here for you.

If this message touched your heart, tap ‘like,’ share it to spread hope, or send a little love up to David.

🤍Let’s keep David’s light shining. 🤍 by @jackfroot

“In life, sometimes you gotta go through the bad to get to the good. Just remember to smile through it all. 😊”

Quote by David Nguyen
___

✨This week, the Jackfroot team is taking time off to honor and remember our founder, David Nguyen. Today, marks exactly one year since David’s passing. We are dedicating this week to celebrate all he has done for the community.

As we honor his legacy and reflect on his profound impact, we invite you to join us in celebrating the remarkable life of our visionary leader. We would love to hear from our community how he touched your lives.✨

——

Anyone that knew David, knew he was a pioneer and paved his own way. He dreamt big, talked big and was fearless in his pursuit of it. He was the epitome of go big or go home, ‘A Wolf of Saigon’. Even though he spoke a big game, he stayed humble, worked hard and kept his foot planted on the ground.

Initially focused on the Asian community, Jackfroot was a media platform to fight against Asian hate and showcase Asian talent and culture. It has become more than that now.

It has become a diverse community platform where the stories, news, media, entertainment are shared to foster community, promote positivity, be a voice for the defenseless, connect people or simply put a smile on your face.

——-

As amazing of a person David was, we will never truly know the internal battles David faced. But we’ll be remiss if we do not acknowledge the internal struggles David faced. Whatever it was, however long it was, he carried it and faced it alone. To whomever is going through the same, whatever struggles you are having, reach out and we will listen, care, and be there to help you carry the weight, just like the way David has done for so many.

David left us a legacy that will live on forever.

He was always about connecting and helping anyone that needed it with his innate ability to empower, inspire, and make you believe in yourself!

The @jackfroot team would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all the tremendous love, support that you have shown us and David.

We will continue Jackfroot’s vision and mission, carrying David’s torch forward. 🔥✨ taken in 𝓗𝓮𝓪𝓿𝓮𝓷. by @jackfroot

Growing up in a home always filled with music, it’s no surprise that Illumi discovered her passion for DJing at just 3 years old. But who could have imagined that at only 6 years and 99 days old, she would make history as the 🌎 world’s youngest female club DJ, recognized by Guinness World Records!

La Quinta, this one’s for us. 🏆💙💛

I’m humbled to share that I’ll be inducted into La Quinta High School’s 2026 Community Hall of Fame, the first non-athlete ever to receive this honor.

My journey doesn’t happen without LQ. The teachers/faculty who believed in me, the friends I made in those halls (some of whom I still build businesses and hang out with today), and a community that showed me what’s possible. Everything I’ve done since started there.

Over the years I’ve come back to speak with students, hoping to show them that there’s no single path after graduation. This recognition belongs to every kid who doesn’t fit the traditional mold and is still figuring out their lane. You belong here too.

So we’re not just throwing an induction. We’re throwing a celebration for our school, our culture, and our community. 🎉

📍 November 10th at La Quinta High School

🍜 Collab menus with local small businesses, with proceeds going back to LQ student clubs

🌙 Andy’s Aztec Night Market outside the gym during the induction game

🥂 Alumni after-party at Rodeo 39

More surprises and announcements dropping soon. Aztecs, alumni, Westminster community: come through and celebrate with us.

Let’s get this party started. 💙💛 taken in La Quinta High School by @jackfroot
