💕 Happy 11th Birthday to our beautiful Carolina! 💕

She started this year with some pretty BIG goals, and in true Carolina fashion, she set her mind to them and crushed every single one! ✨

Qualify both ponies for Pony Finals, compete at Pony Derby Finals and Capital Challenge, travel to new places and revisit our favorites, and get her dream puppy! 🐴🐶

In May, she qualified BOTH ponies at Blue Rock Classic! At Pony Finals, she and FiFi placed 2nd in the flat, 22nd over fences, and 15th overall in the Smalls! In June, she and Tobi had a beautiful round at Pony Derby Finals, with just one little chip keeping them out of the ribbons. But the smile on her face was worth more than any ribbon!

We made unforgettable memories in St. Thomas, Deep Creek Lake, Kentucky, and at our beach house. ☀️🌊 She checked off another goal at Capital Challenge, where she and Tobi had major success! And to end her 10th year, her biggest birthday wish came true… meet Oakley! 🐾❤️

As proud as we are of her accomplishments, nothing compares to watching the person she is becoming. Her confidence, maturity, emotional strength, and determination have grown so much. This sport has taught her that not every round is perfect and not every goal comes easily, but watching her persevere and never give up makes me prouder than any ribbon ever could.

Carolina, Daddy and I love you more than you will ever know. Being your parents is our greatest privilege, and watching you chase your dreams is our favorite adventure.

The family and friends that came out to support Carolina this past weekend was so humbling ❤️ even when this crew isn’t there in person they are texting, calling, asking for videos and cheering our girl on from home - but being able to have them there in person was extra special! 12 years - and somehow our song never gets old ❤️

We’ve made so many amazing memories together, but we’ve also held each other’s hands through some tremendous losses and some of the hardest moments life has brought our way. Through every high and every low life has sent our way we have gotten through it one way - together!!

Our greatest accomplishment will forever be our beautiful girl, Carolina. I couldn’t ask for a better partner in this life or a better father to our baby girl — especially watching you fully embrace your role as a pony girl dad and being so very proud 🐴❤️

I’m so proud of the life we’ve built, so grateful for everything we’ve made it through together, and so excited for everything still ahead of us.

We watched this pretty girl from the stands at Pony Finals 2024 and we fell in love with her before we even officially met her. We knew when we bought her she was a little green for Carolina, but we knew she was special ❤️ The lessons she has taught Carolina are both endless and priceless. She has brought so much joy and love into our family - she is as sweet as she is beautiful! She has taught Carolina the true meaning of a partnership and their continued hard work is admirable! What a weekend for Carolina at the Maryland Horse & Pony Show! 💙🐴✨

Junebug “FiFi” had an incredible weekend in the Small Pony Hunters! 🏆 Carolina and FiFi were CHAMPION of the Small Pony Hunter division with ribbons of 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st & 2nd, earning beautiful scores of 86, 85, 84 & 81!

They went on to be named GRAND CHAMPION PONY of the show! 🏆✨

To top it all off, Carolina and FiFi finished 2nd in the Small Pony Hunter Classic with a combined score of 171.

Speaking Terms “Tobi” continued to show just how special their growing partnership is. Carolina won the flat class and had such positive rounds all weekend, earning scores of 80 and 85. So proud of the confidence and consistency these two continue to build together. 💙

So incredibly proud of Carolina and both of these ponies. The ribbons are exciting, but watching the hard work, confidence, and partnerships come together is even better. Weekends like this make all the ups and downs along the way worth it. 💙💛

As her parents, this weekend meant so much more to us than ribbons, scores, or championships. We’ve had a front-row seat to the last two years—the hard work, the setbacks, the tears, the tough days, the lessons learned, and the moments when it would have been so much easier to give up. We’ve watched Carolina keep showing up, keep working, and keep believing even when things didn’t come easily. To see her ride with the confidence, determination, and joy she had this weekend made me prouder than any ribbon ever could. Success feels a little sweeter when you know how hard someone had to fight to get there, and watching her hard work begin to pay off is something I’ll never forget. 💙🐴✨
