Of course, you know @justbobbidotcom, the makeup powerhouse—but did you know she is also a hotelier? Chapter 2 of #TheInnCrowd is an incredible story of resilience: The very day Bobbi left Estee Lauder, she and her husband Steven Plofker decided to open an inn. Every inch of @thegeorgemontclair bears their personal stamp, from the Union Jacks (Bobbi is a Londonphile) to the pup-friendly amenities. It was a labor of love and a much-needed creative outlet at a time when Bobbi was running out the clock on a non-compete until she could launch her next big beauty venture. And the couple did it the way they do everything: together. They even co-wrote the foreword to #TheInnCrowd—and I’m truly honored! by @jackiecaradonio

I titled Chapter 9 of #TheInnCrowd “The Inn-tellectuals” because @staythehenson owners Ely and Danielle Franko are a seriously smart duo. Self-taught in everything from tiling and limewashing to garden design, they transformed a past-its-prime boarding house into an artful inn where every single detail bears their personal imprint. Among my favorites are the living room’s skylights—an Ely addition that draws in spectacular light that dances across the room throughout the day—and Danielle’s impeccable arrangements that greet guests at the entrance. by @jackiecaradonio
