I blinked and you turned 2…. This time 2 years ago you entered the world🥹 Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the last year (I had to narrow it down to 20 lol)! We were going to throw him a monster truck party but we took him to the beach instead! What a blast it was celebrating our sweet boy! Happy 2nd birthday to the heart outside of my body. To our son, and to my sweet baby boy,

Let me start off by saying that many people say that having a baby changed their life, but that’s not what happened to us, because you completed our lives. It’s because you fit right into our world so seamlessly, like you were simply always supposed to be here. It wasn’t your job, but you must know that you have healed mommy and daddy in ways that will make sense in your future, and for that, we are so grateful. Regardless of what I read, I was not prepared for the overwhelming love, gratitude, and emotions, that I have been feeling over the last month, as we counted down to today, and as we planned your 1st birthday party of many, and as we continued to look over the first year of what will be a very long life. We love you so much, Jaiden. I love you, so much. And I will never stop letting you know it. They say the first year is the hardest for many reasons, and in some cases, the world was right. But on the other hand, I feel like they were wrong. But anyway, good or bad, we made it through what is usually is the hardest part. We have so many people to thank for carrying my little family through the past 12 months… and we have to thank you Jaiden, most of all, for being the most perfect human being, for being the most loving, the most silly, the most handsome, the most sweet, little guy I have ever met. I’m still in awe that you came from mommy and daddy. And we are sure damn glad you did. Happy birthday to our sweet, sweet, angel of a first son, and first child that we were blessed with. I wrote this all down all ready so that you can read it in a few years, and know just how much you were always loved from the moment we learned we created you. Thank you, God.
