A glimpse of my life painting for @persil_de back in April. While painting, I often asked about shores at home, daily moments and division of labour, to get some inspiration for my scenes. While most guests talked about wanting to see scenes of couples cooking or cleaning together, taking care of kids, one very wise lady asked me to paint her “just reading, enjoying herself, doing nothing”.

Needless to say I still think about how we most focus on productivity and to-do lists, and forget that “enjoying yourself” is actually life goals.

Thank you for the Persil team that made this exchange possible 🤍 #heforshe #persil taken in Düsseldorf, Germany by @jackiediedam
