As I stand at the end of one chapter and begin my next, I find it difficult to depict the exact words to perfectly convey what my time at The University of Alabama has given me. College has been a journey of growth, challenges, triumphs, and countless lessons that extend far beyond what I ever could have imagined. There were sleepless nights when the workload felt unbearable, moments of doubt when I wondered if I was on the right path. But through all of that, I found a strength I didn’t know I had. More than anything, Alabama taught me the importance of community. I’ve been blessed with lifelong friendships that have made me laugh, supported me when I’ve stumbled, and challenged me to be a better woman. I didn’t realize, until now, how much I would come to love this place. Not just the campus or the degrees received or football games in Bryant Denny. It’s the memories, the quiet moments of understanding, the bonds I’ve formed with people who were once strangers but have now become a part of who I am. These are the things I’ll carry with me—not just as experiences, but as pieces of my heart. As I take this next step into the unknown, I do so with gratitude and excitement. The future feels both vast and uncertain, but I know I’m better prepared for it than I ever was before. The University of Alabama has given me a piece of itself that I will carry with me for this lifetime. To my family and friends—thank you for believing in me, for pushing me when I needed it, and for being there every step of the way. This accomplishment is as much yours as it is mine. And though my heart aches at the thought of leaving this place behind, I know the future is waiting, and with it, all the possibilities that I’ve worked so hard to earn.
