Roast Pumpkin Martinez :
A savory take on pumpkin; the anti-pumpkin spice latte.
Barrel aged gin, chicory liquor, pumpkin butter vermouth, bay leaf bitters, roasted pumpkin seed saline.

roasted / nutty, subtly salted, herbal / peppery, warming spices, velvety texture

I knew I wanted a savory take on pumpkin on the fall menu and had also been thinking about trying to incorporating apple butter into the menu for some time now, my mom gifted me a jar of pumpkin butter from Bauman’s and things clicked. Bauman’s is a little mom and pop shop near my hometown, across the street from the house my mom grew up in, it is a flavor I associate with my childhood. I really enjoy incorporating ingredients or flavors that are derived from my personal memories and feel authentic to my experiences. by @jackieenevin
