Dear world, it’s your girl’s 70th birthday today.

My best friend, my compass, my North Star. The one who taught me to walk, to swim, and to fold a fitted sheet. The one that read Nancy Drew to me every night before bed. The one who showed up when I decided I wanted to live in SF, then New York, wait back to SF again. The one that used to fly from Kauai to NY for only 3 days for my birthday. The one who listened to all my dreams, who safe guarded all my secrets.

The person I want to be most when I grow up.

Simply put, she is everything ✨.
And I am so damn proud to be her daughter. by @jackiekkropp

Real talk: watching our best friends become parents over the last 8 years has definitely been one of the highlights of my life. Getting a front row seat as Leo and Scotty become the coolest little humans? Well that might just take the cake. Needless to say, being asked to play even a small part in their lives feels like the biggest honor 🥹 taken in Notre Dame des Victoires by @jackiekkropp
