Today was our first day of swim class at @goldfish_brighton and it did not disappoint! They had so much fun, the hardest part was leaving 🤭🥰🤣 Use code “JACQUELINE50” when you sign up for extra savings!

A Monday homeschool mom win! Finding somewhere my 4 kids under 5 can burn off energy while I enjoy a coffee and don’t have to clean up afterward? Sign me up! Owl’s Play Cafe in Hartland has something for every age, and the cinnamon bun latte alone is worth the visit. Use code Jackie26 for 50% off!

We found a new favorite place!

We took the kids to Sandverse, an indoor sandbox experience, and I’m not exaggerating when I say this place was MASSIVE! The kids got to dig, explore, build, play, and make the biggest sandy mess… while I got to leave the cleanup behind. 😂

I love experiences that let my kids be kids and explore without me having to recreate (and clean up!) the whole thing at home. This was such a win for our crew, and we’re already excited to go back!

If you’re a Michigan mom looking for a fun indoor activity, definitely add Sandverse to your list!

My new favorite running + reading hack!

As a mom of 4, sometimes I have to double up on my goals, and PodBeat is making that SO much easier! I can listen to my favorite audiobooks while a beat drops behind the narration, giving me the perfect soundtrack to keep moving.

Now I can hit my running goals AND make progress toward my 100-book goal at the same time. Two birds, one workout!

If you love audiobooks and staying active, you NEED to try PodBeat!

Someone reopen the Blockbuster. That’s the experience I would LOVE my kids to have! The instant gratification is convenient, yes, but there’s also character in waiting and effort.

No gatekeeping here! Here’s our newly opened favorite date night spot! Elite Golf Brighton is the NEW indoor golf simulator hot spot, and it’s such a fun spot for date nights, friend hangs, and a little friendly competition! Trust me, you’re going to want to check this one out. Hope to see you there sometime!

Book girlies, RUN to Spotify to find out which ACOTAR court you belong to! I’m already completely obsessed with A Book of A Court of Splintered Harmony, so naturally I need to know… WHICH COURT ARE YOU IN?! Tell me in the comments because I need to know where my fellow romantasy readers belong!

We did it!!

Jeff Roder and I, along with our friends @ashley.merollis & @dominicmerollis , did our first Hyrox 1/2 SIM!

This crazy idea was just a couple months ago with the thought I wanted to get back into shape after 4 babies… BUTTTT if you know me you know it’s hard for me to stick to something without a goal in mind; and by goal weight doesn’t work for me. 5 months PP and with the BEST company and fun, we rocked it!!

Also, our best friends Felicia & @bullingball came to support us; with Felicia even offering to watch Rory during the event in case she needed to nurse mid race, since she’s still exclusively breastfeeding and won’t take the bottle. The fact we have friends who would drive an hour to come , support, with nothing to gain from it really touched my heart. And so incredibly thankful and blessed to have such friends. Nearly all the video is Jon!

What a day!
Now… do we train for a full 🤭?!

Sharing the 1st grade homeschool curriculum we’re using this year with my oldest, who’s not even 5 until November! Homeschooling looks different for every family, and I’m learning that you don’t have to follow a one-size-fits-all approach. I’m focusing on making learning fun, meeting him where he is, and building a strong foundation while enjoying these little years together. Here’s what we’re using for our homeschool year!

We signed up for HYROX with our husbands this Sunday, and somehow sending each other reels about how to survive it has been our main form of training. We have the tips, we have the hype, but the preparation? Let’s just say we could’ve done a little more. Time to see if the reels actually work. Here goes nothing!
