✨ Introducing @broadcast_shortfilm’s cinematographer - Jackie Teboul ✨ Jackie is a French Director of Photography now based in the UK. She has lensed numerous short films screened at Academy Award- and BAFTA-qualifying festivals, including Aesthetica, BFI LFF, and BFI Flare. Alongside her narrative work, she maintains a strong interest in documentary and has shot three feature-length projects and numerous short-form works, including CHARACTER, which was shortlisted for a César in France. by @jackieteboul

With beautiful symmetry, the world premiere of Safe Unsound takes place today - within the community we shot the film, courtesy of @westival.westport and @thewcinema Set in rural Mayo, Ireland, it follows three displaced Ukrainian families rebuilding their lives with hope, courage and commitment to a new community. It’s a film with a big heart that took 3.5 years to make. The Ukrainian families who we collaborated with will be at the screening with us. It’s a big moment for us all. At a time of escalating hostility towards migrants, civil society responses are crucial, and this was a community effort in the truest sense. So many people have helped get us to this point, all drawn to a project that at its heart, aims to share a bit of warmth and kindness.
