When you're literally just trying to wash your feathers and he appears out of thin air!

I was filming this female Bullfinch having a bath when this dashing male decided to join her. Unfortunately for him, she was having none of it!!

Himalayan Balsam is a very invasive species, and right now its ballistic seed pods are literally exploding all over the place!

Our riversides are so completely infested with invasive species now, it's hard to imagine our ecosystems ever recovering to a native state. I often wonder in what ways wildlife will have to adapt to living in such an environmental smörgåsbord.

Wild beavers at dusk. There aren't many joys greater in my opinion. Hanging out with this family is always such a privilege.

September really kicked Autumn into gear. All of a sudden the roads are covered in fallen leaves, mushrooms are rejoicing in the rain, and there's a different smell in the air. I'm liking it 🍂 🍄

How often do you see birds eating seeds or insects in the wild? I'm sure you've heard by now that the RSPB have advised against feeding birds in the summer months, to reduce the spread of deadly diseases. For a lot of people, their only experience of seeing birds eat will be at the feeder - but we have to understand that this cannot be the way forward.

Rather than replacing avian habitat with artificial feeding stations that makes the birds sick and furthers their decline, we should think bigger. If we grow plants that produce seeds, fruit, and increase insect populations, we can allow birds to live and eat naturally. So instead of building bird tables, lets build ecosystems!

Are you aware of the lengths beavers will go to get their favourite foods?

I'm always amazed to see how often they climb trees, considering they're so much more adapted for life in the water than on land!

With many places still in major drought, I'm incredibly thankful for the rain we've been having (as I'm sure the wildlife is too!) #climatechange #scottishweather #drought #rain taken in Stirling, Scotland by @jackisrewilding
