Lanterns | Outside (Staind)

Making an edit without watching the finale yet is next-level larp.

Synopsis: Following experienced Lantern Hal Jordan and new recruit John Stewart, the pair investigate a murder in Rushville, Nebraska while grappling for possession of the ring. Hal believes it is an extraterrestrial incident and leads them to darker mysteries and reckonings.

I say with full confidence that this will be the greatest spider man film of all time. Even better that it comes out a day after my birthday. Enjoy!

Synopsis: An isolated Peter Parker fights crime full-time in a world that has forgotten him, a grueling status quo that triggers a dangerous physical transformation. This unmanageable evolution becomes his only hope to stop an invisible new threat and face classic adversaries alongside unexpected allies.

Obsession | Blood on the Ground (Incubus)
Another unexpected mashup, the lyrics are too perfect. I would not recommend editing to a horror film at 2AM. Enjoy!

Synopsis: Bear, a socially awkward music store employee, buys a "One Wish Willow" charm that grants him one wish. He impulsively wishes for his longtime crush, Nikki, to love him. The wish is violently granted, transforming Nikki’s affection into a terrifying, murderous fixation that robs her of her agency.

Backrooms | Room a Thousand Years Wide by Soundgarden
So insanely hyped for this film. This was such an odd combination, but Cornell's vocals are so raw that I think it works beautifully. Enjoy!

Synopsis: After a therapist's patient disappears into a dimension beyond reality, she must venture into the unknown to save him.

*Headphones Recommended*
Here is my final project for my Sound Design class, which is a complete resound of a scene from Mission Impossible: Fallout. All sound design including ADR/Dialogue is by me.

This is my favorite action movie of all time, so it was a very fun and complex project. LOTS of foley and metal interactions to play around with. Total time spent is around 12-20 hours.

I definently need to post more SCAD stuff here. Enjoy!

Forgot to post this a while ago, but here's the full editing timeline of my most recent edit. The volume of sound design here was pretty intensive due to the pace of the song.

This has done very well on Youtube and Instagram, I really appreciate the love. Though I'm back in school, there's more to come. Enjoy!

Die Hard | Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) by U2

Synopsis: Police officer John McClane is trapped in a high-rise skyscraper with twelve terrorists and their hostages, one of whom is his wife. Alone and outnumbered, John must save the day and try to survive in the process.

Here is a last minute edit of one of my favorite Christmas movies (it counts, argue with a wall). Nothing special with the sound design, just wanted to make something during the holidays. Enjoy!

Dispatch | Rigamortus (Kendrick Lamar)

FULL EDIT ON YOUTUBE, link in bio
Here is the first minute of my Dispatch Edit. I love this game so much, I had to pay tribute to it through music. Editing to a Kendrick song was absolute insanity. Sound design is by me, except for the dialogue.

Synopsis: Robert Robertson III has no powers. He is known to the whole as the hero Mecha Man, until his nemesis destroys the suit and puts Robert in a coma. Miraculously, he is given a second chance at heroism to work at the Superhero Dispatch Network. Tasked with commanding a team of reformed villains to fight crime, Robert realizes this office job will be a lot harder than expected.

Tonight’s the night…of Halloween.
My costume this year is Dexter Morgan, and it’s honestly one of the most comfortable costumes I’ve worn. No wonder he kills people in this outfit.

Wanted to get back into practice+study out of socket movement. Go watch K-Pop Demon Hunters, the title sounds stupid but the movie and soundtrack are god tier.
