Forced to defend himself and others, Parthiban displays extraordinary fighting skills and kills the attackers in self-defence, making him a local hero. However, the incident attracts the attention of powerful gangsters Antony Das and Harold Das, who believe that Parthiban is actually Leo Das, Antony's son, who was presumed dead years ago. “One Sun One Moon” is the second single from Jailer 2, released on September 25, 2026. The song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with vocals by Anirudh and M.S. Krsna, while the lyrics are written by Heisenberg and Super Subu. The track is designed around the larger-than-life presence and legacy of Rajinikanth, presenting him as an iconic, almost timeless figure whose name and influence continue to command attention. The opening portion builds a sense of grandeur with imagery associated with battle, victory, leadership and history, before moving into an energetic rap section that talks about turning struggles into strength and darkness into light. This gives the song a combination of mass elevation, confidence and motivational energy, while Anirudh’s production keeps the track stylish and cinematic rather than simply relying on heavy beats. The repeated “One Sun One Moon” idea works as the central identity of the song, creating a memorable hook around the film’s superstar image. The lyrical video also features fresh glimpses of Rajinikanth from Jailer 2, reinforcing the song’s connection to his screen presence. Overall, the song functions as a celebratory mass anthem built around Rajinikanth’s charisma, legacy and larger-than-life screen persona, making it especially suited to visuals featuring his iconic moments and powerful character shots.
Anirudh Ravichander’s contribution gives “One Sun One Moon” its distinctive musical identity. His composition combines a melodic elevation with a grand, celebratory sound designed around Rajinikanth’s larger-than-life presence. Anirudh also lends his vocals to the track alongside M.S. Krsna, making the song both a tribute to Rajinikanth’s legacy and another collaboration between Anirudh and the Jailer team.
