i understand why birds migrate now…🛫🛬

On a deeper level though, this semester truly was the greatest 5 months of my life, and I hope everyone reading this gets to experience that same feeling no matter how hard it may seem, whether it be during the bs application process, the week prior fear of not knowing wtf your life is going to be like, or even during those first moments in this new destination (home) when you really have no idea what’s happening…
Studying abroad 🤓- also not sure why they named it that because it truly didn’t require much studying unless you’re named Baylor, but that’s besides the point; it will reshape how you look at yourself for the complete best! It’s amazing the changes that can take place so quickly when you’re forced into such a vulnerable situation, where nothing will be solved unless you take that initiative.
A singular piece of advice that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is that the beginning of new things is always hard, but try to waste as little of that time as possible, get out there…expect nothing but be ready to experience everything with everyone. When you expect nothing, there is no possible way for anything to go wrong because you’re willing to face any which way the wind decides to take you on that journey, and each uncomfortable experience will become comfortable with enough practice, so set small goals and accomplish them, and before you know it, you’ll be comfortable in any situation ahead of you except when it comes time to leave this new home…that shit hurts. Anyway, that’s just a piece of what I’ve come to realize during this time, so please go travel the world, and thanks to everyone I met along the way, I’ll miss you all, but I’ll be back so soon, I think I kinda like traveling 🧳❤️ by @jackkahrenss
