And just like that my time at Green Hill track has come to an end. I just want to thank god for all of the opportunities and people that came into my life because of this beautiful sport. Even though my time running track was short the experiences I gained will live with me for life. Like I told the team last night, more than any accomplishment or award or medal that I ever received they are what I’m most proud of. To me they are my greatest achievement, getting to know, lead, and support such wonderful people who accepted me when I decided I wanted to “just stay in shape for soccer” watching this team grow as runners but even more importantly as people has filled me with more pride and joy than I ever believed possible. The coaches that supported us were, I believe, sent into my life by God to mentor me and everyone else on this team. If I ever needed help or advice whether it was track related or not they were always willing to listen with keen ears. I wil always love Green Hill Track and field and it will be apart of me for the rest of my life. Go Hawks! by @jackklepser

I never thought when I decided to join cross country last summer that it would have this big of an impact on my life. My teammates and my coaches have all become family to me and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’m so thankful for this team and everyone who has helped me along the way. I’m thankful for the people who invited me into their group last year and treated me like one of their own. I’m thankful for my coaches, teammates, and parents for always pushing me to be my very best everyday. I’m also thankful for God giving me the opportunity to meet all of these amazing people and for providing me with everything that I have gained since last July.
