We had the pleasure of a sit down with Jack Ling, who invited us into his infamous Loft. A space many of us know as an afters spot or a place to spin some records. We want to highlight this special location because we believe its a sacred space and cornerstone of London’s underground scene. 🙏🏽

Jack has never missed a SlapFunk party in London and not many in Amsterdam. Always there, always humble. He shared stories from inside those walls, and we heard a few from the heads who’ve passed through too.

All ahead of his SlapFunk debut at 93 Feet East on the 6th of September.

We caught up with @jackling___ ahead of our show @number90london on the 5th of December 🎁.

Speaking some of his favourite records, what to expect from his set & how his passion for music developed.

High energy, garage, electro, tech house abit of everything. It’s safe to say the Beeyou regular knows how to control a room & we couldn’t be more excited to have him joining us.

BAKED SESSIONS | TREBLEMAKERS™️ | PIE & MASH EDITION 🥧

Excited to release our latest Baked pop-up with the boys @treblemakers___ taking over B.J’s Pie & Mash for a proper East End session, set inside a place and tradition that’s close to all of our hearts.

The TrebleMakers are a DJ trio made up of Jayar, Jack Ling & Zach Murray, with their roots firmly planted in the East End of London. After years of playing together without a collective identity, the boys finally came together as TrebleMakers, bringing their different influences into a sound that moves between house, electro and tech house, whilst always causin’ TREBLE.

Big love to the boys, Nathan from B.J’s and everyone involved in making this one happen.

EPISODE 1…

Starting off easy with this lovely breakbeat track. Its hypnotic groove and chunky baseline are the perfect combination making it a versatile track that can be played at any point of the night.
