“He didn’t scream, he didn’t struggle, he laughed as he fell, for he knew falling meant he had once soared. There’s some sort of bitter triumph in falling when you are supposed to be soaring. Something victorious in reaching past your limits even if it cost you something. But in that moment he had lived fully, and had touched something extraordinary. Something worth falling for.”

I could write a book about all the reasons why I am thankful for this game and program.

I would give absolutely anything to do it over again atleast one more time with my guys.

This is my hardest goodbye, it’s difficult to find the words to explain how bad this one hurts, and I know I will never be able to.

I will never take for granted all the memories i’ve made these last 4 years. Through practices, bus rides, film sessions, and after practice meals I wish I could have every last second back, and I am so grateful to have these experiences. I hope to have left a mark on this program and those who I have ran into throughout my years. It has given me some of my most cherished relationships. Thank you to everyone who helped me become the player and person I am, especially every single guy who I stepped onto the field with. The only regret I have is not starting sooner. How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so unbelievably difficult. I’m always one call away.

Thank you Hickory Lacrosse 🖤❤️ by @jackmiku4
