Turns out thinking about changing your life doesn’t actually change much.

I spent nearly 2 years considering doing something different.

Then I finally started.

6 months later life looks completely different.

Not saying everyone needs to quit their job or move abroad.

But if there’s something you’ve been saying you’ll start “one day”…

I had a good career, a good life and plenty of reasons to stay comfortable.

I just couldn’t shake the feeling that there was more out there for us.

More places to see. More things to build. More freedom over how we spend our time.

Still figuring it out as I go.

Cyprus was never really on my radar as somewhere to actually live. There were more other options for us.

Then we spent some proper time here and I started looking into what life could realistically look like if we made the move.
The weather and lifestyle are the obvious bits, but the business side surprised me.

15% corporate tax, Non-Dom benefits, the 60-day residency route… suddenly you start to understand why so many business owners are looking at a tiny island in the Med.

Still plenty for us to figure out, but I can definitely see the appeal 🇨🇾

Should more people be considering Cyprus? 🇨🇾

7 weeks living in Cyprus and here’s what surprised me most…

We came here wanting to experience what actually living in Cyprus would feel like not just being on holiday.

The cost of living, food, weather and slower pace of life have all surprised us in different ways.

Some things are definitely more expensive than the UK, while utilities and local taxes can be considerably cheaper.

But the biggest difference? The Cyprus lifestyle ☀️ More sunshine, more time outdoors and a much slower pace of life.

Could I see why so many people choose moving to Cyprus from the UK? Absolutely 🇨🇾
