New Aussie drama alert (with this spectacular cast). The F Ward drops today on Stan. I was stupidly lucky to get to write EP 4 (there’ll be some classic Yabsley binge drinking and party pashes). I was even working on it while in hospital, which may have been taking the art/life relationship too far.

Much love to @kelsey.munro.writer and @danyedwardooo for creating this mongrel of a show and letting me be part of the team of beautiful writers with @shonkygrudgeon @stunningmermaid_69 @xavierhazard @artemiswilson @jesswatuckabees #thefward @roadshowroughdiamond by @jackotron

Beyond chuffed that our ratbag of a show is nominated for 2 AACTA Awards, alongside some of the best Aussie comedies made in recent history.

Thanks to everyone who helped create Gold Diggers- our epic cast and crew, everyone who watched, and my dad who gritted his teeth through (at most) two episodes.

If you’re an AACTA member, we’d love a vote, but honestly this nom is amazing on its own.

Special shout out to @simon.mccutcheon.58 and his incredible team for their nomination. And to @johnniemakeup for making me feel so beautiful.

Hard to put this into one pithy post. I’m just an incredibly grateful and humbled little man. Thanks to everyone who’s watched our silly/grubby show. Thanks to this beautiful crew who came together to laugh and create and get muddy every damn day. Thanks to the fearless writers who brought this world to life. Thanks to the most phenomenal cast of angels who threw themselves into Dead Horse Gap with so much generosity and talent. Thanks to my sisters @muffypotter and @trudi.ann who’ve been there the whole time making this puppy shine. And thanks to @wileylauren_ who kept our family functioning (thriving) while I was out writing fart and patriarchy jokes.

Final episode: Hanging Tough goes to air on @abctv tonight. Written by my hero @relentlessywendy
Directed by our setup queen @helenabrooks

EP 6: Dreams came true the day our Queen @ladyheathermitchell agreed to come play in Dead Horse Gap. Plus the absolute gentleman @_tomwren at his dirtbaggiest.
Written with my future bestie @aalleexxlleeee and directed by my future nemesis @madeleinesami
So much silliness: beer bongs, vomiting, lotsa romance, secrets, pashing, and the tv debut of @manali.MP3’s new single 🔥❤️
