Quantum Physicist Carlo Rovelli explains that his real fear about AI is not the tool unto itself

It’s the tool plus another grave tool (nuclear weapons) plus human stupidity (our desire to dominate each other and our geopolitical games)

I share this view as well and I wonder as I listen to this how come physicists makes such good rational thinkers — and how come we don’t listen to them more?

You’re gonna forget more things than you ever remember in the first place and what’s the point of that?

I forgot a painting technique while I was painting dammit !!

Dada becomes increasingly sensible the longer you look at modern civilization.

We The People stare into Glowing Rectangles until our eyeballs fail to see, we use machines to imitate walking distances, take pills to sleep, and pills to wake and so forth

and then still call the artist irrational for putting a urinal in a gallerY by @jackplumley

What begins as a joke, is often how the best ideas begin.

Two people cook some food, put papaya on the table, serve milk beside cake, make the whole thing slightly theatrical;

and suddenly you are asking questions about hospitality, labour, art, money, ritual and who exactly we spend our lives catering to by @jackplumley

Book cover design concept & style references for "Blue Light Blockers" by Jack Plumley.

along with my other N-of-1 self-published works, I am aiming for mid-century modern aesthetics, bold typography with geometric color blocking

Why not? this composition is an early stage rendering pairing flat, overlapping circles with a high-contrast starburst motif to establish visual hierarchy

first picture is a purely Bauhaus variant

later pictures are my moodboard

so it goes by @jackplumley

The gym teaches in straight lines: lateral planes of motion.

Paint doesn’t. Jazz doesn’t. Poetry doesn’t.

I’ve stopped chasing bigger numbers just because they’re there. The foundation is steady,. Now I’m interested in the forgotten directions —> the rotational, the spiral, the stumble, the side to side

The bench bird-dog row is a strange little exercise. It asks your brain to draw with your body.

Bands are honest, naturalistic: They don’t care what you can bench. They find the crack and make you look at it

Muscle building is a mechanical process

Integration is art

If you’re after Basquiat, Burroughs, Kerouac, or Vonnegut: imitate them—in art and in the gym

So it goes.

Using an incredible tool; which looks into one’s sleep cycles, through the vein of love.
Amazing what can be gleaned.
