POSTS STORIES REELS
I've always believed the old advice to work hard in silence and allow your success to make the noise, but I'm feeling reflective. So, I'll make just a little extra noise today. Slide 1 These are a small fraction of the tapes that happen behind the scenes. I can't even begin to count how many of these I've sent in the past years. While many of them ended at the tape themselves, I'm lucky enough to say that across the last three years, my career has been a steady climb that I couldn't be more proud of. I've worked at amazing regional theaters, on new off-broadway shows, led a national tour across 26 states and 3 countries, filmed shorts with talented directors, and made my first national television appearance. I've grown in my skills, my confidence, my friendships, and become the best version of myself. As an artist and as a person. Funny how those go together. I've always believed the old advice to work hard in silence and allow your success to make the noise, but I'm feeling reflective. So, I'll make just a little extra noise today. Slide 2 This video is from a little over three years ago. My first time ever deadlifting 360 lbs. I posted the video on my story and remembered being so proud. At the time, I was working as a cycling instructor and rehearsing for my first ever professional production. I had big dreams. Some of them I've accomplished. Some are still in the works. (PS someone please tell me why I used to load weights like that?) I've always believed the old advice to work hard in silence and allow your success to make the noise, but I'm feeling reflective. So, I'll make just a little extra noise today. Slide 3 This video is the same weight and same exercise today. I'm obviously proud of the physical accomplishment, but I'm even more proud of everything that came along with and led to it. This was taken at a gym in Vermont, on opening night for a concert version of Sweeney Todd. The latest of my proud accomplishments, with more to come soon. Here's to the next three years. by @jackrazzy
