Este año para mí ha sido bien importante para mí.

It started with me running away from a dangerous situation in the states due to the ICE raids happening too close to home, among other challenges that stem from the current political climate.

Every single month since Fleeing has been full of introspection, healing and dark days that I had to learn to pull myself out of.

I learned the importance and the power of staying in a good mood despite being riddled with hurt, self doubt and the anger that comes with being mistreated by the world.

And I learned the power of joy.

I started this journey at a time where I felt no hope that I'd ever be the optimistic fighter I've always been. So i acted on the memory of hope, even if deep down I didn't feel it.

I decided to call myself a star, and to act like it without anyone needing to tell me that I was.

I decided to take a leap and start this modeling journey, and I started listening to everyone that believed in me. My mother, my partner, my chosen family, my community, and of course, Jon Jon.

Through this Journey I've seen the value in my own joy, and how it's helped others. I've seen how many people are out there in the real world, working hard to live their dreams, and how coming together as artists has the power to create amazing things and amazing opportunities for each other. And It's made me kinder to myself and others.

Thank you to everyone that has had an impact on my journey here, and I'm so greatful that I was able to make the most out of a year that started out with so much pain and uncertainty.

Ha sido tan lindo el camino en el que me he encontrado. Empezando esto, no me sentia muy capaz. Pero en 3 meses he hecho tantas cosas maravillosas. Runways, Photoshoots, fundraisers, y un show en vivo 24/7 por 20 dias corridos, sin parar. Formentar un sentido de comunidad e inspirar a personas a salir y explorar las artes siempre es mi objetivo con mi contenido. Siento que en estos meses, lo he logrado. Y siento que en los proximos meses, lo seguire logrando by @jackscourt
