Another incredible session with @artifexinks over at @luckybunnytattoo . I cannot say enough about this shop and the incredible artists that work there.

There was a time in my life when I spent a lot of time inside dance studios. Even though it's been a very long time there are certain things I can still close my eyes and remember so vividly. My preferred spot at the bar, the smell of marley and sweat, the instructor and piers that pushed me to my absolute limits because they knew that I could take it. That's the whole purpose of this tattoo, to be a constant physical reminder of where I have been and how these places have made me who I am.

The last few months have been very difficult. There has been a lot of change. A lot of ups and downs. So I decided that I needed something for myself. Today i took the first step and what will be my largest tattoo yet. This one is particularly important because it embodies my journey up until this point. I'm so unbelievably grateful to @artifexinks for her amazing work and @luckybunnytattoo for being such a wonderful and welcoming shop. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience has been and I'm looking forward to it more soon.
Remember this too shall be swept away.

This one meant a lot. New PR 300lb deadliest which is a 15lb jump from just about 6 months ago. Life is challenging me in mays I did not think I could take so it feels so good knowing that I am still growing.

I'm trying to get better at slowing down and appreciating everything going on around me. Always striving to find lessons in the discomfort. The goal is always to be a little better tomorrow than I am today.

Today Was A Big Day! Worked up to a PR deadlift at 285lbs, First time pulling a PR in 2 years. Fallowed by
3x6 Bulgarian split squats with 90 lbs dumbbell and finish with 3x6 RDL with 155lbs on the barbell.
Then a reward of eggs sweet potato flautas and a protein shake.

Keep pushing everyone. That next goal that you have for yourself is only a time of focused hard work away.
