What a blessing these last few months have been. Getting to play baseball one last time with an incredible group of guys is something I’ll always be grateful for. Sharing senior moments and graduation with family, friends, and teammates made this season of change even more special.

However, I’ve also been reminded of my good buddy Chase, who I miss dearly. I can’t describe how much I wish he could’ve walked the stage with me at graduation. Even through both the joy and heartbreak that came with this season, I’m grateful to have a Creator watching over me and smiling with Chase at the same time.

Less then 50% of people in America are satisfied with there lives as of 2024. This past week and a half in North Carolina I learned that I am enough and that I’m worthy of Gods grace. I’ve been created in Gods image how he wants and I can go to bed at night with the assurance that I’m saved because of my faith and his work for us on the cross. God is good! I have had the opportunity to camp and serve at windy gap the past 9 days. During this time I made friends, furthered my friendship with my small group and other campers, and had fun. Most importantly my relationship with God grew tremendously. I was able to read and study the Bible in various ways I hadn’t experienced before. I was able to worship and hear sermons with over 300 high schoolers. I was also fortunate to have conversations with fellow Christians who like me, understand how great god is. While I’m very fortunate to have this relationship with god, not everyone is. In Matthew 28:19 Jesus says “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” As I go home after camp my goal for my faith in the next year is to pay forward what god has given to me.
