Meet people where they’re at not where you want them to be.

We are called by God to love. The greatest commandment is love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind and the second is to love your neighbor as yourself. It’s easy to make assumptions it’s easy to form judgement but also how easy is it to show someone love, to acknowledge them, to make them feel seen. How often do we do things we are comfortable with that we know won’t change the way people see us. How often do we think of ourselves as the hero when we are actually the antagonist. Jesus went not to the righteous but to the sick, the outcast, the sinners. Jesus loves unconditionally, He sees the unsurpassable worth and value in everyone, and He has prepared a place for you a place where you belong. How can we do that here on this earth? Seek the outcast. Show people what unconditional love feels like. See the value in every single person. Make people feel that sense of belonging we all long for. We are all human, seek out the humanity in others. To know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived, that is to have succeeded.
