Just finished writing a script I plan to shoot soon, but I’ve been thinking about my undergrad a lot lately. Besides gaffing, I directed quite a bit and miss how much I loved directing back then. So, I’m getting back in the saddle next month. by @jacksonlhartman

This past week has been INSANE!!!

Nonstop working up until this Friday! I got to be a part of three incredible projects, two shot digitally and one shot on 8mm film!

It was so much fun, and having @brandon_scott2727 by my side for all three made it even better! Thank you so much, brother, for always putting 1100% of yourself into everything you do! Truly couldn’t ask for a better guy to work alongside!

ALSO, IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN DIGGER, GO WATCH IT!!! Huge thanks to @bhartman15 for taking me to see it!

A Day Without Pain: What an adventure this was all the way out in Augusta for a 3 day set. Thank you to all those I worked with over the weekend and making it possible to produce this thesis. Working on it as 1st AC was awesome and a great experience, thanks to @jaylark2 and @sirquedusoleil. Alongside @jacksonlhartman with the ARRI Amira. by @jacksonlhartman

Same script, different approaches.

Had so much fun working with all of these incredibly talented directors, actors, and crew! As a class assignment, each director was given the same script, but everyone had a completely different vision for the story.

I feel extremely grateful to have been the DP on all three of these projects and to have had the opportunity to make some creative choices of my own.

Huge thanks to @hayden_field8 @callie.creative.film @ellieyannnnnnn for bringing me along on this roller coaster of a ride. I can’t wait to see where these projects go and what we get to collaborate on next! taken in Atlanta, GA by @jacksonlhartman

Some of the first projects I got to DP while at SCAD. Since then, I’ve had the chance to work with @ellieyannnnnnn, @hayden_field8, and @katajiron several times now, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon!

Thank you all for the amazing opportunities to work alongside you. I feel incredibly fortunate to call you not just colleagues, but friends as well. ❤️ taken in SCAD-Atlanta Digital Media Center by @jacksonlhartman

It’s incredibly important to remember where you came from and that no one starts out making anything outstanding. We’re all still learning, and every new step we take makes us better.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and thought, why not take something I made a long time ago and apply everything I know now to see just how much of a difference it makes?

So, here’s the result.
