A huge thanks to Blaine and @topshelfaquatics for an amazing video documentary of my reef. It was an honor and privilege to be chosen, and to have my experiences help other hobbyists is a gift. Truly grateful.

I’d like to thank @worldwidecorals for taking the time to visit and document my reefing journey. The video is up on YouTube. I hope you enjoy it. If there’s any questions, post in the comments section and I’ll get right back to you. by @jacksons.reef

Everything starting to table out on this side of the reef. It won’t be very long before I’ll have to intervene. Good problems! @modernreef.eu by @jacksons.reef

Battle Corals Bubble Bath Unicorn morning polyp extension on Modern Reef. Dosing Reef Engine Core 7.7x 4 part, polyp pop, complete food, and recently started Terraformer. Couldn’t be more pleased with simplicity, results, and the value of the whole system. @modernreef.eu by @jacksons.reef

I recently moved Ari’s avalanche to the center spot in the reef. It seems to be very happy getting more light and flow. This is an amazing coral when it’s fully colored up. Looks best under a whiter spectrum IMO. @modernreef.eu by @jacksons.reef

CCH Icarus has doubled in size in the last 5 months since taking the halides off of my display tank. This is really a beautiful coral 🙌. by @jacksons.reef

A year ago today I decided to take one last shot at this relic of a coral, the Tyree Purple Monster. Drove 6 hours each way to Boston to acquire the original frag. I had some confidence in my system, but you know how fickle corals can be, especially notoriously suicidal ones 😂. I’m extremely grateful for the year of success with it. This coral has a nostalgic value for me. It’s a gateway into my earlier days of reefing everytime that i stare at it. I hope that I’m able to share growth updates periodically, but even if I lose it like so many others, it was well worth the effort to me. by @jacksons.reef

Jason Fox Fantasy Island. This coral was very slow for me when I was running halide. Since switching to radions a few months back, it has started to wake up in growth and color. It almost looks like an icicle with polyps 😊. Very excited to grow this into a large colony. by @jacksons.reef
