First time at Lewis Smith Lake was a fun one. Caught tons of fish, just couldn’t get our big ones come tournament time. @elyhunterhagans and I ended up 67th out of 250 boats and missed qualifying for Nationals by just over 2 pounds. Learned a lot about these big spotted Bass and I look forward to coming back someday. Fished the @collegiatebass Big Bass Bash on Kentucky Lake this past weekend and was able to pick off one big one which placed me 4th in session one of Day 2 and finished 24th overall out of 600 anglers. Fun start to the season and am ready to get this year rolling!

@williams.sawyer and I had one heck of a week at the @collegebass National Championship on Pickwick. Truly showed all the colors and emotions of the sport. Our week started with one of the best practice days we’ve ever had, and come day 1, our bigs just didn’t bite. We were in 72nd going into day 2, and ended up losing our lower unit halfway through the day leaving us dead in the water. With us not being too far ahead in the race, and our teammates having a better shot than us, we decided to load the boat and trailer back to the ramp, zeroing our weight for Day 2. We ended in 100th place out of 131 of the best college boats in the country. When it isn’t your time, it isn’t your time. Being my first National Championship, regardless of our outcome, I am beyond grateful for being able to walk across that stage representing my school. I want to give a huge shoutout to our teammates as they truly are some of the best supporters and young men out there. Another huge congrats to @levimullins14_ and @matthew_cummings_ on their 2nd Place Finish and their college classic bracket birth, both of y’all are going to do huge things in this sport. Big thanks to @bass_nation for giving us College Anglers opportunities like this.

Had one heck of a first ever tournament in Florida, me and my boy @williams.sawyer chopped up 15 pounds 11 ounces today for a two day total of 36-14, a 15th place finish, and qualified for the @collegebass National Championship at the end of the season. had one fun day in my first @collegebass event scratchin up 21 pounds and 3 ounces of Florida bass with @williams.sawyer for 11th place out of 275 going into day 2. Fished my last derb on the home pond before I head to Bethel and got to head home with a 5th place finish & some hardware! It was a tough one out there today and I couldn’t get my fifth keeper in the boat but I’m happy with what I had nonetheless. Can’t complain too much when you catch a 5.75 on ole Beav! On to Tennessee!

Headed home from the @bassmasterhighschool Open on Norfork! Big E and I scratched up a limit for 8 lbs 10 oz and a 19th place finish. It was a tough one but a fun one. Missed the Natty cut but we are still hoping to seal a birth next weekend at State.

Had a whole circus of different @castawayrods on deck and they all helped swing on a bunch of fish but our 5 were the only keepers we caught. Nevertheless we are happy to have em! See y’all at state👊🏼
