🍎SWIPE TO READ🍎
James William Guercio was the creator of caribou ranch- a recording studio nestled on top of the Rocky Mountains. This studio was used by many different famous artists and after thriller was released Michael Jackson went to visit.

With thriller becoming a global success Michael had skyrocketed into a new level of stardom. He practically was a part of everyone’s home. You couldn’t go into someone’s house without seeing a copy of thriller- as I mentioned in one of my previous posts, Michael had revived the record economy with just a single album release.
➡️

With this newfound fame and success it had begun to get to the point where Michael was so well known, he couldn’t go anywhere without being recognized - he always had to have protection, and he always was under scrutiny.
While this fame was exponentially growing- Michael also had his personal life shifting and changing. At 26 years old he was in the victory tour with his brothers, this tour happening after the horrible Pepsi incident. Not only was Michael having to deal with recovering from the horrific injury that he sustained from the negligence of the pyrotechnics on the Pepsi set- he also was diagnosed with vitiligo. Imagine having your fame shoot up into levels unknown, and then being diagnosed with a chronic disease that will drastically change your appearance. It was only a matter of time before the press would start to notice small changes and start to make up false stories. I can’t imagine the stress from all of these things piling on top of eachother- the highest highs from success from something you put your heart and soul into, and then the reality of life and how fickle it can be crashing down onto you.
This is where the caribou ranch trip comes in.
➡️

Michael was invited by James William Guercio to come and visit the ranch during one of his stops in Colorado during his victory tour, and Michael accepted.
Michael’s experience with the visit changed him, he was able to for the first time in his life go outside without needing to have security. This was one of the first experiences in his adult life where he was able to have the chance to walk outside and not have to worry ab by @jacksonssilhouette

Happy Birthday, @michaeljackson
It is very difficult for me to find the right words because there are people whose importance cannot be fully described with ordinary phrases. You are exactly that kind of person to me.

You mean so much to my heart and my soul. Your thoughts, your words, and all the kindness you wanted to bring to this world touch me so deeply. They give me goosebumps, bring tears of happiness to my eyes, and fill me with a feeling of endless admiration when I realize what a bright and beautiful person you were.

Your songs and your speeches helped millions of people feel better, accept themselves, and believe in love and kindness. You always wanted to make this world kinder, especially for children, and that is where I see the true purity of your heart.

To me, you are like an angel of my soul. A person who brought light to places where it was sometimes missing. Your kindness, your sincerity, and your desire to help people will forever remain a part of this world.

Sometimes I feel that words cannot explain how important you are to me and to such a huge number of people around the world. Feelings like these can only be expressed through music, and it was your music that was able to touch the deepest corners of the human soul.

I want you to always feel love, warmth, and peace. I want you to know that you are not alone. You continue to be loved, remembered, and cherished by millions of hearts. Your legacy continues to live on, and your light continues to inspire people to become kinder.

Thank you for everything you gave to this world. You will forever remain a beloved person to many, and you will forever remain in our hearts. by @jacksonssilhouette
